In the heart of Oklahoma, surrounded by rolling hills and wide-open prairie skies, we create something we believe the world deeply needs—small-batch, natural skincare made with intention and care. We’re Saffron + Sage Co., and for the past year we’ve poured our hearts into crafting gentle, effective products that nourish the skin from the inside out.

Our journey began with a simple frustration: so many commercial skincare products were filled with synthetic, harsh ingredients that left our skin feeling depleted instead of restored. We wanted something different—something honest, clean, and rooted in the earth. That desire sparked the beginning of Saffron + Sage Co.

We started experimenting with locally sourced tallow, whole herbs, and pure oils, learning how these traditional ingredients could support the skin in powerful ways. One of our favorite practices is the slow infusion of frankincense serrata resin, which we grind in-house and infuse for hours. This resin is known for its anti-inflammatory and soothing benefits, and we love watching its rich aroma and healing properties transform our oils.

We also render all of our tallow ourselves. This step matters deeply to us because it allows full control over quality—ensuring every balm, bar, and butter is clean, pure, and free from unnecessary additives.

For us, it’s about balance: creating products that are gentle enough for sensitive skin, yet effective enough to address dryness, irritation, blemishes, and everyday skin needs.

The result is a line of soaps, creams, balms, and body butters that are beautifully crafted and deeply nourishing. Each batch is made by hand in small quantities, allowing us to pay attention to every detail—from the texture of the oils to the final swirl on a soap bar.
